classic bride

Andrea and Nate's Wedding

They met five years ago and have supported each other through each different life stages from graduating this year to now saying I do.  Through thick and thin they have made their bond even stronger.  Their wedding at Villa De Leon was the perfect combination for their romantic outdoor wedding.  Not only did they show immense love towards one another, but everyone in that room shared their love towards them that day.  Andrea and Nate are both two classic souls, Andrea is such a timeless woman, the second she walks into a room you can’t help but turn notice her warmth and loving smile. And Nate is such a down to earth guy, who is willing to do anything for Andrea's happiness. I was so surprised when he was the one who contacted me to capture his wedding, not only that but how detailed he was.  It showed how committed he was to Andrea's happiness.

Their wedding was the perfect representation of classy and romantic at Villa de Leon. Their entire wedding day was filled with celebration and a perfect color palette of hues of pink.  I had a blast getting to know these two and capturing the most important day in their lives.  I am excited to share a few of my favorites with you all!

Dreamy and Vibrant French Styled Wedding at Rancho Las Lomas

The inspiration behind this shoot is to celebrate the beauty of Rancho Las Lomas and the freshness of living in Orange County. Soft butter yellow hues embrace the delicate rays of the sunlight, while the blue tones resemble the clear crisp skies. This palette was meant to pop out against the terracotta throughout the venue and embrace the blue tiling at the Teatro. The romantic feel that is prominent throughout the property is brought in with a mix of modern and vintage decor pieces…French style seating, fragile glass china, and crystal hanging light pendants. All attendees and viewers should feel as if they have been transported outside of Southern California to create a unique photographic story through the design elements provided at the shoot.

Citlali and Daniel

Citlali and Daniel's wedding was straight out of a rustic fairy tale.  There love for each other is something you see in a movie.  From the way, Daniel proposed to her, which was in the middle of her doing a play for her church to the way he protects her.  He is her home, her rock.

When I arrived at Springville Ranch I knew it was the perfect location for these two to say I do.  In the middle of a town was this venue beautiful venue filled with different nature elements that took my breath away.   Citlali and Daniel are an amazing couple and truly had a perfect celebration of their love with their loved ones.  I am excited to share a few of my favorites from their day!

Pasadena City Hall Anniversary Session

Your wedding day is just day one of a new beginning.  You've gotten the chance to know each other inside and out, on good days and bad days.  Resulting in a love stronger than ever thought possible.

Marlen and Jose's anniversary session, was filled with laughter and tender moments between each other.  I can not wait to see what life has in store with them.

Diana + Daniel Wedding

The moment I met Diana and Daniel for our initial consultation I knew we were going to become great friends! Maybe it was the way they both kept it real throughout the session, which I love! We stayed talking for hours to the point we lost track of time.

Let me tell you a little bit about them! They met in high school senior year in biology class.  Daniel and Diana were both very smart students.  One day Daniel needed a tutor to help him with his homework, but we all know it was an excuse to talk to Diana.  They finally went out, they got married a couple of years later.  It wasn't the way they both dreamt of, but they knew they loved each other so much, they were willing to wait till they were able to walk down the aisle and make their eternal love official in front of Gods eyes.  They both attended college as well as worked rigorous hours at work to be able to pay for schooling, in the back of their mind they both knew they wanted to marry through the church.

Finally, in March,  they were able to make their dream and family's dream come true.  Diana with a huge smile on her face walked down the aisle.  This church had special meaning to her family it is where she, her sisters, and brother did their first communion and confirmation.  Once they finally said I do and got a few moments to thank God for this glorious moments,  they walked down the aisle, Diana made eye contact with her proud father.

They danced the night away with their family and friends.  I have never met a family full of life and happiness.  So many moments they will never forget.  Even Edgar and I (once we were off the clock danced the night away with the bride and groom not because we were weirdos, but because they invited us ;)  )

Diana, we LOVE you & Daniel so much! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for bringing us in as photographers turned friends, and treating us like family! Please let us know when you are back in town, we miss you both in Cali!!

Kim +Zach's Forest Engagement Session

Kim and Zach are one of my favorites! Their love for adventure hiking, the great outdoors  and each other made this session one I will always remember.  It was our first time venturing into a different location, a hidden location close to Sequoia, once visited by Kim when she was a kid. We all rode out with Zach's uncles truck following behind us, it felt like we were in a parade driving down the road.  One of the surprising element is while Kim and Zach shared a kiss in the field it started to rain, it made this session that much more special.  We could've stayed here all day, the location was too breathtaking.  Kim and Zach will be getting married this October, I am too excited for their upcoming wedding
