fall wedding

Nancy and Albert's Wedding at San Gabriel Mission

Romance-191.jpg

Nancy and Albert’s love story started out with being friends. They were not each others type for sue or at least that’s what they thought. Sparks started to flare once they truly got to know each other….

Here are a couple of words by Nancy “ We became good friends we had the same lunch schedule. Albert was NOT my type and he will say I wasn’t his! 2 years later both of us recently single we started to change the conversations from basic water cooler talks to getting to know each other on a more personal level, suddenly we both started feeling strange feelings for each other we both tried to fight it. Albert left the company and when he did we decided to go out for happy hour, the rest is history we’ve been inseparable ever since!”

Here is what they had to say about their proposal “Albert proposed June 10 th 2017 on his birthday weekend, he told me he wanted to go out for a drink he invited sibling and mine. We decided to meet at my sister's house and when we arrive we walk into a house full of the family both his and mine, EVERYONE is recording and crying and next thing you know Albert is on one knee asking me to marry him. With the help of our friends and family, he pulled off a surprise engagement with a reception to follow. It was beautiful!”

Their wedding day was filled with love from them and their entire family. You can see the love their parents had for the happy couple. Nancy’s sister speech during toast got a lot of us in tears. It was a heart-wrenching moment, but she felt safe by having Albert by her side.

This couple’s love is like no other, this homebody cuties know how to show love for their family!

I felt like I was one of their family members as I followed them through this journey from their beautiful engagement session in Big Bear to now their wedding day at the Bagramian Hall. It is couples like them that make my job such a joy! Thank you guys for trusting me to capture the next chapter of your love story!

Tori and Ramiro's Triunfo Creek Wedding in Malibu

Portraits-87.jpg

“We will always be unique together.” These are the words used by Ramiro as he described his relationship with Tori. “We are so alike in so many ways and different in so many other ways. She makes me comfortable with myself and makes me feel like I can become better. There’s always something new for us to do and become. We are constantly changing but we are always doing it together. “

After being set up by mutual friend these two love birds started chatting every day for months on Facebook before they first officially met four years ago a couple of days away from Christmas. After their first date at Candy Cane Lane they hit it off and couldn’t get enough of each other.

What an incredible start to their love story!?

Their Proposal story was straight out of a fairy tale. This is how it happened.

“We would take our dog up to PV to walk the trail there along the coast and one time I remember walking with her and seeing a wedding going on and the two things clicked. I pictured being married to Tori and knew I had to propose. I started saving and I brought her back to the same spot I remembered feeling that way. Whenever she feels she’s “annoying” me she asks “how much do you love me?” and I always jokingly reply “enough”. So that morning she asked me again and I told her “ask me later”. When we got to the spot I wanted to propose I asked her to ask me again and I replied “enough to marry you” and I got on one knee. “

Just like the proposal, their wedding day was nothing short of incredible too! Triunfo Creek Vineyards  has become one of my favorite venues to photograph at in the Malibu area! The outdoor venue was the perfect location for this outdorsy couple. Surrounded by rolling vineyards, rustic oak tree, and a view a top of a hill to die for. The vows are exchanged under an old willow tree and the reception area that is dazzled with twinkle lights once the sun sets.

Tori and Ramiro’s wedding day was truly unforgettable, with gorgeous details! Danielle from Couture Events created a beautiful masterpiece the reception was abundant with cream and white details, with greenery and roses in each table by the talented Clásico Designs. This fun loving couple, spend the evening enjoying each other and their loved ones on the dance floor,

Besides the beautiful couple, my other favorite part of this day was when Tori’s father was giving a heart felt speech. Their was hardly any dry eyes in the room.

Tori is caring, beautiful and curious. Ramiro is caring, family-oriented, and patient. He has complimented her in a new way, he has made her into more of who she truly is and that is a confident and beautiful woman.

They really are a perfect fit for each other. They are a pretty low key couple, but they do love adventures, they love to eating at new places especially in The Grand Central Market or cooking new dishes with their puppy Iggy. They truly make each other better people.

I had such an incredible day celebrating them, and they danced their booties off as Dart Collective kept the dance floor packed all night!

Here are my favorites from their day.

Erica and Adrian celebrated their ten years together by officially tying the knot.

They unofficially first met on Erica’s sixteen birthday, but it wasn’t until later Adrian and Erica noticed each other they were in each others childhood photos.

Their paths attempted to cross several times, but for some reason the stars aligned and they caught each other’s eyes years later in Dockweiler beach.

Erica and Adrian are the kind of couple who’s love inspire me.   Erica carries a joyful and warming personality that made me feel like we were old friends catching up.

I was blown away by how she planned her galaxy wedding day theme.  As well as the importance she placed on her romantic photo session as well as the love I can see in Adrian's eyes when he looked at his wife.

From her first look to the sunset romantic session at Malaga Cove library.  I could not get enough of the chemistry and love they had for each other.  Her lace detailed David's Bridal dress shined throughout her entire wedding day.

I'll never forget capturing that moment during their romantic session because it's exactly why I love being a wedding photographer.

Erica and Adrian, I'm so happy that you two have found each other.  You two are the reason why I further believe in Serendipity.  I'm thankful not only to have been your photographer but also that I had the opportunity to meet such an incredibly kind, fun, and adventurous couple.

I can't wait to see what the future has in store for you both and that you're both exploring the world once again.

Nancy and Albert's engagement session at Big Bear was a winter wonderland! As soon as we arrived at this beautiful location we had one goal in mind to hunt for snow! We became true adventurers for the day!

Here is a little about their love story:

We met in 2013 at our previous employer. We became good friends we had the same lunch schedule. Albert was NOT my type and he will say I wasn’t his! 2 years later both of us recently single we started to change the conversations from basic watercooler talks to getting to know each other on a more personal level, suddenly we both started feeling strange feelings for each other we both tried to fight it. Albert left the company and when he did we decided to go out for happy hour, the rest is history we've been inseparable ever since!"

Nancy and Albert I can't wait to photograph your wedding this coming October! It is going to be so epic!

Evelyn & Julio Wedding

One of the many clients I fell in love with.  Evelyn and Julio had their ceremony Skypark Drive in Torrance.  It was a rainy Sunday afternoon as Julio and Evelyn said their I do's.  Rain is always seen as a sign of fresh start and to them I wish them nothing, but the best of luck and love as they start their first year as husband and wife.  To this day I can still remember the way their entire family knew how to have a blast and the unity they all had.

Citlali and Daniel

Citlali and Daniel's wedding was straight out of a rustic fairy tale.  There love for each other is something you see in a movie.  From the way, Daniel proposed to her, which was in the middle of her doing a play for her church to the way he protects her.  He is her home, her rock.

When I arrived at Springville Ranch I knew it was the perfect location for these two to say I do.  In the middle of a town was this venue beautiful venue filled with different nature elements that took my breath away.   Citlali and Daniel are an amazing couple and truly had a perfect celebration of their love with their loved ones.  I am excited to share a few of my favorites from their day!

Grayson and Joe

I had the honor and privilege to photograph Grayson and Joe's wedding this past fall at Blue Water Grill in Redondo Beach.  With the last taste of summer days, they were filled with genuine love for one another.  Family and friends descended at Joe's house in El Segundo for the ceremony and followed them to Redondo Beach.  I was in awe to see the love their family and friends shared for them.  Their vows were honest and heartfelt as they looked at each other the entire time they were saying them, and may I add they also had some jokes here in there.

One of my favorite moments was seeing how Joe reacted when Grayson was walking down the aisle, his smile is one I will never forget.

Also, they sure know how to let loose on the dance floor.  All of their family and friends joined them to the sound of the 80's music! cheers to you both, for your growing love, and for meeting you both!

Rosa + Everardo = The Observatory Engagement Session

Rosa's and Everardo's session was so much fun!  I loved how adventurous they were in picking their location in LA, the Griffith Observatory is the perfect location to capture their love story.

She herself is an amazing photographer in Porterville.  Evardo has been the one to push her constantly when things get difficult in her business.  No matter what he is the one who believes she is capable of accomplishing her goals.

She comes from a family who is hardworking and dedicated.  With that strength and ambition to keep on giving her family the best possible, she has successfully impacted so many people's life through her amazing work.

I can not wait to be able to capture their amazing wedding day and finally have their families and loved ones witness this special day..

Thank you

Gabriela wedding was so different I fell in love with all the vibrant colors they used in their wedding.  The couple infused their culture to their wedding day, I was surrounded of mixes of bright colors.  They even incorporated Mexican attire to their wedding dress and he was dressed up as a true charro.

I have never seen the use of the zarape so elegantly used.  This was one of the weddings I was able to be part of and capture back in October when I was still working as a second photographer for Rosalina Suarez Photography.

I am completely fortunate for everything I learned from my mentor, and I will never forget how much she helped me .  She pushed me to start this new journey in my life.  At times (which is a lot) when I am feeling low and insecure about my business she is the person I call.  She is one of the few who understands how difficult it is to start a business.  I think she believes in me more than I believe in myself.  Rosa, I can not thank you enough for being such an incredible mentor!

This new journey has really forced me to dig into who I really am, and I love every second of it.  Yes, like I said before there is days I want to drop the towel, but there are other days especially when I see the gratification of my clients when I think I love my job!
