Nancy and Albert's Wedding at San Gabriel Mission

Romance-191.jpg

Nancy and Albert’s love story started out with being friends. They were not each others type for sue or at least that’s what they thought. Sparks started to flare once they truly got to know each other….

Here are a couple of words by Nancy “ We became good friends we had the same lunch schedule. Albert was NOT my type and he will say I wasn’t his! 2 years later both of us recently single we started to change the conversations from basic water cooler talks to getting to know each other on a more personal level, suddenly we both started feeling strange feelings for each other we both tried to fight it. Albert left the company and when he did we decided to go out for happy hour, the rest is history we’ve been inseparable ever since!”

Here is what they had to say about their proposal “Albert proposed June 10 th 2017 on his birthday weekend, he told me he wanted to go out for a drink he invited sibling and mine. We decided to meet at my sister's house and when we arrive we walk into a house full of the family both his and mine, EVERYONE is recording and crying and next thing you know Albert is on one knee asking me to marry him. With the help of our friends and family, he pulled off a surprise engagement with a reception to follow. It was beautiful!”

Their wedding day was filled with love from them and their entire family. You can see the love their parents had for the happy couple. Nancy’s sister speech during toast got a lot of us in tears. It was a heart-wrenching moment, but she felt safe by having Albert by her side.

This couple’s love is like no other, this homebody cuties know how to show love for their family!

I felt like I was one of their family members as I followed them through this journey from their beautiful engagement session in Big Bear to now their wedding day at the Bagramian Hall. It is couples like them that make my job such a joy! Thank you guys for trusting me to capture the next chapter of your love story!

Dreamy and Vibrant French Styled Wedding at Rancho Las Lomas

417A1024.jpg

The inspiration behind this shoot is to celebrate the beauty of Rancho Las Lomas and the freshness of living in Orange County. Soft butter yellow hues embrace the delicate rays of the sunlight, while the blue tones resemble the clear crisp skies. This palette was meant to pop out against the terracotta throughout the venue and embrace the blue tiling at the Teatro. The romantic feel that is prominent throughout the property is brought in with a mix of modern and vintage decor pieces…French style seating, fragile glass china, and crystal hanging light pendants. All attendees and viewers should feel as if they have been transported outside of Southern California to create a unique photographic story through the design elements provided at the shoot.

Grayson and Joe Engagement Session

Grayson and Joe are the definition of laid back couples.  From the moment we met we met I knew they were going to be a ton of fun to work with,  I still remember their love for vinyls and old school music.  As we did the session we talked about the different records we own, of course Joe beat me he has THE BEST collection.   This session to me was extra special because we literally created beautiful images right on their neighborhood of El Segundo, getting a closer glimpse of who they are.  It was a beautiful cloudy morning when we did the session, perfect temperature for a summer morning, and I got the chance to finally meet the infamous Lennon! He is such a cutie <3

I love the way they make each other laugh, how they balance each other out,  and I still can’t get over how amazing her ring is!

I got the opportunity to see them and the entire family  again during my Christmas session and what a surprise I received from them,  my very own light blue record player.  I use it every time I am editing my work! It was such an honor to have two individuals who not only are madly in love, but also open their doors to me.  I will forever be grateful to have had the honor to document these special moments in their life.

Kim +Zach's Forest Engagement Session

Kim and Zach are one of my favorites! Their love for adventure hiking, the great outdoors  and each other made this session one I will always remember.  It was our first time venturing into a different location, a hidden location close to Sequoia, once visited by Kim when she was a kid. We all rode out with Zach's uncles truck following behind us, it felt like we were in a parade driving down the road.  One of the surprising element is while Kim and Zach shared a kiss in the field it started to rain, it made this session that much more special.  We could've stayed here all day, the location was too breathtaking.  Kim and Zach will be getting married this October, I am too excited for their upcoming wedding

Claudia + Sal= An Equestrian Session

Claudia and Salvador met through a family member.  From the first moment they met, it was love at first sight.  If it was up to Salvador he would have married her yesterday, he is crazy in love with Claudia!

It was an honor documenting this special day for both of them! I had such an amazing time!  They welcomed Edgar and I to their family's home with open arms and we couldn't be more thankful!

Rosa + Everardo = The Observatory Engagement Session

Rosa's and Everardo's session was so much fun!  I loved how adventurous they were in picking their location in LA, the Griffith Observatory is the perfect location to capture their love story.

She herself is an amazing photographer in Porterville.  Evardo has been the one to push her constantly when things get difficult in her business.  No matter what he is the one who believes she is capable of accomplishing her goals.

She comes from a family who is hardworking and dedicated.  With that strength and ambition to keep on giving her family the best possible, she has successfully impacted so many people's life through her amazing work.

I can not wait to be able to capture their amazing wedding day and finally have their families and loved ones witness this special day..

Thank you

Gabriela wedding was so different I fell in love with all the vibrant colors they used in their wedding.  The couple infused their culture to their wedding day, I was surrounded of mixes of bright colors.  They even incorporated Mexican attire to their wedding dress and he was dressed up as a true charro.

I have never seen the use of the zarape so elegantly used.  This was one of the weddings I was able to be part of and capture back in October when I was still working as a second photographer for Rosalina Suarez Photography.

I am completely fortunate for everything I learned from my mentor, and I will never forget how much she helped me .  She pushed me to start this new journey in my life.  At times (which is a lot) when I am feeling low and insecure about my business she is the person I call.  She is one of the few who understands how difficult it is to start a business.  I think she believes in me more than I believe in myself.  Rosa, I can not thank you enough for being such an incredible mentor!

This new journey has really forced me to dig into who I really am, and I love every second of it.  Yes, like I said before there is days I want to drop the towel, but there are other days especially when I see the gratification of my clients when I think I love my job!
