Ana + John's Griffith Park Engagement

Ana and John are one of the many couples I've had the privileged to photograph who have inspired me to see what love can be.  I was shocked to see how hands on John was throughout their entire wedding.  He was the one who reached out to me and gushed about the beauty of Ana.  He told me all about their plans after their wedding, which included buying their very first home together.

Throughout the entire session, they had a blast posing like the world was their runway.  I could not get enough of how Ana used her outfit to her advantage, which included her sister's handmade flower crown.  She looked and felt like the most beautiful bride.  This summer day was so worth it as we enjoyed this amazing spot till the sun set behind them.    Afterwards, we enjoyed our summer night eating pizza at my favorite Italian restaurant in Echo Park.  Stay tuned till I show you their beautiful wedding.

Grayson and Joe

I had the honor and privilege to photograph Grayson and Joe's wedding this past fall at Blue Water Grill in Redondo Beach.  With the last taste of summer days, they were filled with genuine love for one another.  Family and friends descended at Joe's house in El Segundo for the ceremony and followed them to Redondo Beach.  I was in awe to see the love their family and friends shared for them.  Their vows were honest and heartfelt as they looked at each other the entire time they were saying them, and may I add they also had some jokes here in there.

One of my favorite moments was seeing how Joe reacted when Grayson was walking down the aisle, his smile is one I will never forget.

Also, they sure know how to let loose on the dance floor.  All of their family and friends joined them to the sound of the 80's music! cheers to you both, for your growing love, and for meeting you both!

Diana + Daniel Wedding

The moment I met Diana and Daniel for our initial consultation I knew we were going to become great friends! Maybe it was the way they both kept it real throughout the session, which I love! We stayed talking for hours to the point we lost track of time.

Let me tell you a little bit about them! They met in high school senior year in biology class.  Daniel and Diana were both very smart students.  One day Daniel needed a tutor to help him with his homework, but we all know it was an excuse to talk to Diana.  They finally went out, they got married a couple of years later.  It wasn't the way they both dreamt of, but they knew they loved each other so much, they were willing to wait till they were able to walk down the aisle and make their eternal love official in front of Gods eyes.  They both attended college as well as worked rigorous hours at work to be able to pay for schooling, in the back of their mind they both knew they wanted to marry through the church.

Finally, in March,  they were able to make their dream and family's dream come true.  Diana with a huge smile on her face walked down the aisle.  This church had special meaning to her family it is where she, her sisters, and brother did their first communion and confirmation.  Once they finally said I do and got a few moments to thank God for this glorious moments,  they walked down the aisle, Diana made eye contact with her proud father.

They danced the night away with their family and friends.  I have never met a family full of life and happiness.  So many moments they will never forget.  Even Edgar and I (once we were off the clock danced the night away with the bride and groom not because we were weirdos, but because they invited us ;)  )

Diana, we LOVE you & Daniel so much! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for bringing us in as photographers turned friends, and treating us like family! Please let us know when you are back in town, we miss you both in Cali!!

Kim +Zach's Forest Engagement Session

Kim and Zach are one of my favorites! Their love for adventure hiking, the great outdoors  and each other made this session one I will always remember.  It was our first time venturing into a different location, a hidden location close to Sequoia, once visited by Kim when she was a kid. We all rode out with Zach's uncles truck following behind us, it felt like we were in a parade driving down the road.  One of the surprising element is while Kim and Zach shared a kiss in the field it started to rain, it made this session that much more special.  We could've stayed here all day, the location was too breathtaking.  Kim and Zach will be getting married this October, I am too excited for their upcoming wedding

With summer starting today and being the longest day of the year! I wanted to share Noherana's graduation photos.  Following her sister's footsteps, she is now also a graduate from CSULB with a Psychology degree.  She comes from a family of strong women so receiving her bachelor's degree is just one step to a successful future. ! I can not wait to see what her career has in stores.

The moment I met Citlali and Daniel I knew this shoot was going to be so much fun!  Besides greeting us with one of the warmest hugs, they carried a smile of excitement.  The light was shining, the day was filled with golden rays, and Citlali and Daniel were ready for an adventure.   Daniel kept his eyes on Citlali constantly telling her jokes, just to see her beaming smile.  Some of  the many features he loves about her.  They danced, held hands, and kissed as the last rays of the sun hit the treasured city.  Keeping each moment as a cherished memory and a reminder of them becoming husband and wife. The last part of this session took place in a parking lot overlooking the city.  It was the best way to catch the sunset!

Citlali and Daniel, we had a blast with you two!  Thank you for being so adventurous and laughing throughout your session.  By the way, that wind gave you such a Beyonce moment! I can not wait for your fall wedding in Springville Ranch, The Big White Barn.
