Nancy and Albert's Wedding at San Gabriel Mission

Romance-191.jpg

Nancy and Albert’s love story started out with being friends. They were not each others type for sue or at least that’s what they thought. Sparks started to flare once they truly got to know each other….

Here are a couple of words by Nancy “ We became good friends we had the same lunch schedule. Albert was NOT my type and he will say I wasn’t his! 2 years later both of us recently single we started to change the conversations from basic water cooler talks to getting to know each other on a more personal level, suddenly we both started feeling strange feelings for each other we both tried to fight it. Albert left the company and when he did we decided to go out for happy hour, the rest is history we’ve been inseparable ever since!”

Here is what they had to say about their proposal “Albert proposed June 10 th 2017 on his birthday weekend, he told me he wanted to go out for a drink he invited sibling and mine. We decided to meet at my sister's house and when we arrive we walk into a house full of the family both his and mine, EVERYONE is recording and crying and next thing you know Albert is on one knee asking me to marry him. With the help of our friends and family, he pulled off a surprise engagement with a reception to follow. It was beautiful!”

Their wedding day was filled with love from them and their entire family. You can see the love their parents had for the happy couple. Nancy’s sister speech during toast got a lot of us in tears. It was a heart-wrenching moment, but she felt safe by having Albert by her side.

This couple’s love is like no other, this homebody cuties know how to show love for their family!

I felt like I was one of their family members as I followed them through this journey from their beautiful engagement session in Big Bear to now their wedding day at the Bagramian Hall. It is couples like them that make my job such a joy! Thank you guys for trusting me to capture the next chapter of your love story!

Grayson and Joe Engagement Session

Grayson and Joe are the definition of laid back couples.  From the moment we met we met I knew they were going to be a ton of fun to work with,  I still remember their love for vinyls and old school music.  As we did the session we talked about the different records we own, of course Joe beat me he has THE BEST collection.   This session to me was extra special because we literally created beautiful images right on their neighborhood of El Segundo, getting a closer glimpse of who they are.  It was a beautiful cloudy morning when we did the session, perfect temperature for a summer morning, and I got the chance to finally meet the infamous Lennon! He is such a cutie <3

I love the way they make each other laugh, how they balance each other out,  and I still can’t get over how amazing her ring is!

I got the opportunity to see them and the entire family  again during my Christmas session and what a surprise I received from them,  my very own light blue record player.  I use it every time I am editing my work! It was such an honor to have two individuals who not only are madly in love, but also open their doors to me.  I will forever be grateful to have had the honor to document these special moments in their life.

Ana and Eduardo's Engagement Session

When I first met Ana and Lalo, straight out the bat I knew he was head over heels for her.  Taking that same energy of this immense love to their engagement session.  I had a blast photographing the both of them, from creating little scenarios with them to having fun in the water! They were such big sports when it came to getting a bit wet.  They loved it! I can't believe their wedding is quickly approaching in February!

Melissa and Travis, a love made in Coffee heaven

Melissa and Travis met in biology class during high school.  Their years of friendship made their relationship stronger and deeper than ever. They have a passion for politics and long distance running.  (I wonder if they do both at the same time) They have a deep understand of one another, and share so much of the same mindset, and a love for Santa Barbara.

Throughout their session, a little bit of their personality started to peak out and I couldn't have loved it more, even though we started our session at a Grand Central's coffee, they acted like such pros when they started to create a small group of viewers ;)

In three weeks they will be tying the knot and I can not wait to capture their amazing wedding!

Makayla's First Birthday comes with a Smash!

R.T and Laura are those customers who hold a special place in my heart.  One of the many reasons why is because I have been capturing many of their special moments and they are simply awesome humans! I still can't believe how quickly Makayla has grown, I have seen Makayla grow right before my eyes.  I have had the opportunity to capture her newborn session, her first Halloween, half birthday, her first Christmas, and to now her First birthday.  I feel incredibly happy knowing that I have friends who trust me in document special moments in their lives.

The best part about Makayla's parents is the way they go all out for all of their sessions.  I love how excited Laura gets.  She goes all Martha Stewart on props and creates amazing masterpieces.  So much so she even went to the extent of baking Makayla her cake for the session, which by the way it was extremely delicious.

Happy Birthday Ms. Makayla I can not wait to share more of these special moments with you and your family!
