One of the many clients I fell in love with. Evelyn and Julio had their ceremony Skypark Drive in Torrance. It was a rainy Sunday afternoon as Julio and Evelyn said their I do's. Rain is always seen as a sign of fresh start and to them I wish them nothing, but the best of luck and love as they start their first year as husband and wife. To this day I can still remember the way their entire family knew how to have a blast and the unity they all had.
Your wedding day is just day one of a new beginning. You've gotten the chance to know each other inside and out, on good days and bad days. Resulting in a love stronger than ever thought possible.
Marlen and Jose's anniversary session, was filled with laughter and tender moments between each other. I can not wait to see what life has in store with them.
The moment I met Diana and Daniel for our initial consultation I knew we were going to become great friends! Maybe it was the way they both kept it real throughout the session, which I love! We stayed talking for hours to the point we lost track of time.
Let me tell you a little bit about them! They met in high school senior year in biology class. Daniel and Diana were both very smart students. One day Daniel needed a tutor to help him with his homework, but we all know it was an excuse to talk to Diana. They finally went out, they got married a couple of years later. It wasn't the way they both dreamt of, but they knew they loved each other so much, they were willing to wait till they were able to walk down the aisle and make their eternal love official in front of Gods eyes. They both attended college as well as worked rigorous hours at work to be able to pay for schooling, in the back of their mind they both knew they wanted to marry through the church.
Finally, in March, they were able to make their dream and family's dream come true. Diana with a huge smile on her face walked down the aisle. This church had special meaning to her family it is where she, her sisters, and brother did their first communion and confirmation. Once they finally said I do and got a few moments to thank God for this glorious moments, they walked down the aisle, Diana made eye contact with her proud father.
They danced the night away with their family and friends. I have never met a family full of life and happiness. So many moments they will never forget. Even Edgar and I (once we were off the clock danced the night away with the bride and groom not because we were weirdos, but because they invited us ;) )
Diana, we LOVE you & Daniel so much! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for bringing us in as photographers turned friends, and treating us like family! Please let us know when you are back in town, we miss you both in Cali!!
Angie & Marco's November wedding had perfect touches of vintage and romance, it was the first wedding I had captured in the city of Los Angeles.
Angie's day started by her putting on her final touches to look simply breathtaking on her wedding day. She spent her last moments at her parents home waiting patiently for her big reveal to Marco.
Before the ceremony, they met in an LA hill top to finally get a chance to see each other for the first time before their life changing ceremony started.
They decided to write a love letter to each other and read it moments before they were able to see each other for the first time. Marco was actually blindfolded to hold back any peaking urges. He was extremely excited to see his future wife, his reaction to seeing Angie for the first time, is a look to this day I still remember.
Angie & Marco thank you for the honor of allowing me to capture your first day as husband and wife. Your love for each other is truly magical. I hope you guys continue to have magical days in Disneyland!
I love Valentine's Day and I mean LOVE! One of the many reasons is besides the obvious is because I enjoying giving gifts. Do you guys remember as kids how excited you would get to receive valentines cards from your classmates? Well I get that giddy and then some! I wanted to give my lovely 2016 brides a little surprise for Vday and just simply show them how much I appreciate them on this special day.
I hope you all enjoyed your Valentine's day weekend! I sure did Edgar Surprised me this by taking me to one of our favorite locations in LA the LACMA. Ladies get this, he actually cooked an entire meal for us! I was so amazed by the amount of time he took to have this day become so special to us. He even baked a huge heart shaped chocolate chip cookie! which I am still dreaming about. It was soo good! So good I forgot to take a picture of it! We ended our day by taking a walk by the Light Structure and playing with our cameras. (how typical of photographers) It was simply perfect because it reminded me of our high school days.
Congratulations to all the lovely ladies who are newly engaged, I hope you all had an amazing Love day full of love and kisses.
